Ideal Home is still a family School Finder first: an address, nearby schools, and
Local Enrolment Area (catchment) where official data exists.
If you run a tutoring institute, or you research schools and catchments, this optional view is
the same public tables — presented so you can look at a suburb or a named school without
wading through parent enrolment copy.
This is not job hunting. It is not a way to find teaching work.
Same public data families use; different first question: how is this neighbourhood’s school
picture laid out?
Who this optional view helps
Tutoring institute / coaching college: see which schools sit near a centre or a client suburb; Local Enrolment Area is who the school serves, not a lead list.
Researcher: address or school-name entry, then the same honest Yes / No / No data / N/A catchment column and public ACARA fields.
Tutor planning a catchment: nearby schools as context for where students may attend — not entitlement, not a marketplace.
What this optional view does
Search from an address you care about (centre, campus, or study area)
List nearby schools nearest first (family search still puts Local Enrolment Area Yes first)
Keep the Local Enrolment Area column as who the school serves, not a child’s enrolment right
Show public size / ICSEA percentile / LBOTE as context — not a ranking
What this is not
Not job hunting and not a jobs board
Not a “best school” league table (no NAPLAN, no composite score)
Not an enrolment guarantee for families — confirm with the school and department
Does not replace the parent Local Enrolment Area product
WA and NT still show nearby schools with government Local Enrolment Area as
No data until official catchment coverage exists.
Parent Local Enrolment Area stays free. We do not sell school data to agencies.
There is no checkout today — nothing is for sale.
