Support Ideal Home

Ideal Home is a free School Finder for families: enter an address, see nearby schools, and check Local Enrolment Area (catchment) status where official data exists.

Optional donations help cover running costs — hosting, address geocoding, and keeping the tool online. They are not a fee for government datasets.

What stays free

• Address → nearby schools and Local Enrolment Area Yes / No / No data / N/A
• Shortlist compare fields from public ACARA profile data
• Guides, checklist, and feedback — no paywall on the core answer

What donations help with

• Server hosting and routine upkeep
• Paid map/geocode API usage so free lookups stay available
• Keeping multilingual chrome and honest coverage notes maintained

We do not sell catchment polygons or ACARA rows, and donations never unlock a “secret” LEA answer. Always confirm enrolment with the school and the relevant education department.

Thank you — every bit helps keep the free core running.
